Toolern Engineering Supplies PTY LTD can supply Airglide Systems' Heavy Load Transporters.  These are manufactured from premium quality structural steel and are designed specifically to our customers' requirements. Such requirements could include integral lift decks to lift the load away from its base before moving it away to its destination.

These super-efficient transporters are powered by compressed air, and are capable of carrying loads from 5 to 500 tonnes or more. They normally only require a constant supply of compressed air from a standard workshop supply. The number of air bearings fitted is dependent on the size and the weight of the load to be moved.

Using Airglide's unique and compliant air bearings, the effort required to move these transporters is as low as 50kg of horizontal force to move a 10,000kg load. However, to control heavy loads that are floating virtually friction free, there has to be some form of physical contact with the operating surface and Airglide wil include either air powered or electrically powered drive units. These drive units can be integral or external depending on the degree of drive and steering that is required.
